ORIGINOO GANGSTA

I spun my first party in Dove Springs in Austin, Texas in the spring of 1991. My first set of turntables were straight armed pioneers, belt driven with no pitch control. That's why I use to scratch in all the songs ....I couldn't blend without a pitch control. My first mixer was a radio shack "Realistic" mixer...$50 bucks it cost me. I did my first mixtape in 1995. It was called "The Adventures of the 4 Eyed Bastard". I only sold it in a place called Blondies and Music SoundExchange on the drag. I entered a few DJ battles from 95 - 99. Around that time I came out with my second mixtape with DJ NICK NACK called "PHONO PHONICS"..That was 1996....I still love that mixtape. I also hosted a few local access tv shows...The first was called "Latin Groove" I also did a few "Raptrax" shows and finally I did a show called "Austin Underground". I've djed on KVRX 91.7, AND KAZI 88.7. I opened for a lotta cool events. I opened for Craig Mack, Das Efx, Onyx, QBert, DJ Skribble. Those were fun.

I've Djed in places like The Electric Lounge, Proteus, Steamboat, Carribean Lights, Treasure Island, Copper Tank, XS, Club Rio, BackRoom, Rehab(in dallas), Lizard Lounge(in dallas), Uptown Pool Hall, Canvas, Merkaba Bar, Treff's Bar and a bunch of others. I've spun tons of parties...to many to remember, they all kinda of blend together in my mind now....but I do recall a great party off of McKinny Falls road somewhere. It was 1995 and there were 7 or 8 kegs and about 300 ppl in this tiny Rec. Room...needless to say that didn't mix well and around midnite ..BOOM! It seemed like every single person was fighting that night!!! Also there was my friend Julians party...in 1996..Cops broke up the party and I got a sitation for loud music...I got the whole thing on tape...it's actually at the end of Phono Phonics.,,pretty funny stuff.

I've spun with great local dj's as well...such as Brown Boy James, Martin "the hitman"(R.I.P) , NickNack, MikeSwing, Syko, Havoc, Dj Dominic, DJ Rascal, DJ LX, Spinner T, DJ Crash...those are great ppl to know and to have known.

I even put together a dj battle in 1997 called "Killa Kutz". Brother K was the house dj that night. And the now legendary DJ ENFO(<--who knew?) entered that night.

I entered the DMC, Soundwars & DJ Stomp in the 90's. I won the 2004 Sprite Remix dj competition here in Austin and went on to get 2nd place in Texas in South Padre Island during spring break of that year.<---that was a shit load of fun, I was on stage in front of about 2,000 people, well actually we battled right before Lil John came on stage so all those people weren't there for just us...lol! I made it on nation wide radio in January 08...Yeah Sirius Satellite Radio's SHADE 45...NICE!!I even spun a few of Nelly's PimpJuice parties....Whoa! Reading this sounds like i've done alot...hehe!

And now...I got alittle studio...a regular gig, a few mixcds....and that's it...that's the way I like it now, simple....I don't try to ball til I fall. But I can still rock a crowd. I can still destroy at shows, something alotta young dj's can't seemed to do now-a-days. But really i'm just a regular guy that has a lotta cool memories in my tiny career.....but at least I have a career that I could look back on.

well there you go............................happy!?

HUSTLE TIL YOU BLEED

I dj at a lot of local clubs in Austin, Tx. and the one thing that I've learned is that I missed out on millions of dollars, if I just woulda thought of a way to have all those ANNOYING PEOPLE THAT LOVE TO SING ME THEIR FAVORITE FUCKING SONGS stand if front of a few judges and sing for them. I could of eliminated them one by one with the promise of taking a select few to Hollywood to compete for a recording contract and a butt load of fame. Ok so you get where I'm going with this right?

I hate people who ask me " Will you play my song" and then they begin to sing me the song as loud as they can because we're in A CLUB!!! Then they have the nerve to get mad at me when I say I don't recognize the song their singing. "I sing good, what you mean you don't know that song. What kind of DJ are you?" I'm the kind of DJ that hates your FUCKING SINGING, now move on with your $1 cran and vodka so I get back to making the other 310 people that like what I'm playing and are actually buying $5 shots, dance!

So DON'T be one of these people. Let the DJ play what he's playing. Leave him alone. Do you tell a mechanic how to work on your cars brakes?? No you don't, treat the dj the same way.

Thank you.
